Hello hello. I thought I would share a bit about who I am and what I do.

I am Eleanor (Ellie) and I am a professional creative in her mid twenties. I am one of those people who has been creative since a child. I did every hobby under the sun, from dance to piano lessons to textiles. However, art and design has always been a love of mine. This is why I have explored it academically with my Bachelor's degree in Illustration and Master's degree in Graphic Design.

I adore every area of the creative arts. I don't limit myself as I love so many different ways of creating. That being said, I do have a clear visual language, which is definitely recognisable across styles. I like to use the arts as a method of communication and storytelling. I don't just focus on aesthetics; I feel the story behind a piece is the most important element of any piece of work.

I also root a lot of my illustrative side in realism. This means I am inspired by what I see and experience in everyday life. I use more earthy colour palettes as well as mixed textures to add an extra layer of depth and readability. I want my work to feel recognisable and relatable. 

​

I believe art, in any form, is for anyone and everyone. I feel there is this expectation that the arts are a judgemental community which is hard to access. When in reality, it is a collective of like-minded individuals who support each other in anyway possible. Due to this, I am working on building a safe space for anyone to explore art without worry or expectation. It is a space to play, experiment and learn.
